David Cameron; 10/10 for presentation skills
Along with about 1.7 million viewers, I watched David Cameron interviewed by Sir Trevor MacDonald last Sunday (14 March 2010). Apparently, Gordon Brown’s interview blub-fest with Piers Morgan on the same network last month achieved an audience of 4.2 million.
I don’t know if the difference can be accounted for by the car-crash effect, where ghouls [...]
Nigel Farage: Greece in eurozone was a mistake

8 children, 8 different mothers; £1m taxpayers’ bill
The Sun today, in its inimitable fashion, reveals the story of Keith MacDonald, whom it describes as a “sneering sponger with seven kids by seven different girls” who apparently said yesterday, after getting an eight woman pregnant: “Why should I pay for them?”
Randy Keith MacDonald, 24 – who has already dumped the latest mum-to-be – [...]
EU determines UK immigration law in landmark Somali case
EU judges yesterday passed a (little-reported) landmark ruling that could have cataclysmic consequences for the UK’s immigration policy and benefits system.
Nimco Hassan Ibrahim, a 34 year old Somali woman, has been granted a right to a home in Britain by the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg.
To make it clear, this woman has no connection [...]
Fancy £100Kpa and a £2m house in Maida Vale? Come on down!
Proof, as if proof were ever needed, that the incompetence of this Government knows no bounds. This article in the Daily Mail yesterday is a shocker…
“A single mother-of-six is getting more than £80,000 a year from the taxpayer to live in a £2million mansion in an exclusive London suburb.
Essma Marjam, 34, is given almost £7,000 [...]

Free laptops! Get your free laptop here!
Well, well, well. Just as I predicted over a month ago, The Prime Mentalist’s vote-buying scheme to give free laptops to pupils from poor backgrounds at a cost of over £300m is wide open to fraud. It seems my second post of a few days later pointing out a fantastic ebay spoof has come horribly [...]
A pause in quantitative easing, but the rollercoaster has only just begun..
It was announced last week that the Bank of England had spent the entire £200bn it had set out for quantitative easing (QE). This QE package was designed as a preventative measure, but also a tool for kick-starting the economy. The UK economy grew by 0.1% in the fourth quarter of 2009 and so the [...]

Is the IPC gravy train about to come off its rails?
Labour continue their fiscal policy of spend, spend, spend and repeatedly tell us that this is the only way out of the economic downturn. Political points are at stake and so they endlessly bleat on about how no other party would have handled the situation better. They would like us to believe that everything is [...]

William Hague performs well in PMQs
William Hague destroyed Harridan Harperson today in PMQs (link to BBC iPlayer) where she was deputising for the Prime Mentalist. Vince Cable did a fair job as well.
Watching HH was interesting, in a watching-paint-dry kind of way. She was poorly-prepared, wooden, perfunctory and lightweight. I’ve long been frustrated watching the Prime Mentalist blatantly not answering [...]
