Oh Joy!

Hat-tip to Guido Fawkes for this gem. Truly brilliant! A Spoonerism of the first water! Jeremy Hunt the Culture Secretary indeed! Wikio Wikio

Even Scrooge would struggle with this one…

My normal Libertarian principles and beliefs were somewhat strained last night… I drove down Dale Hall Lane in Ipswich to see a mate, and drove past a house illuminating half the street. It was festooned in, yes, Christmas lights! In October! Should be bloody banned until at least December! Bah Humbug. Wikio Wikio

I’m sorry, but it’s Company Policy, Sir…

A little personal anecdote here, which perfectly illustrates the nonsense we have to deal with every day, and which infects every layer of our society in a million tiny ways. I steeled my soul, and braved the hordes of be-studded, tattooed, work-shy land-whales and their snot-nosed illegitimate children; the out-of-work Kurds, Bulgarians and sundry be-tanned EU [...]

Tony Blair up for another award…

Ah, good old Tony… His mantelpiece must be groaning under the weight of all these awards. He is, truly, a man blessed with the bounties of life on earth… Money, fame, fantastic job, accolades and adulation, a lovely wife. Oh, perhaps not. I mean, would you? No, nor would I. Wikio Wikio

Australian lawyer tests which burns better – the Koran or the Bible

Am I the only one who finds this quite amusing? An Atheist Australian lawyer, Alex Stewart, posted a video of himself smoking with pages of both the Koran and the Bible in an effort to discover which burns better. Wikio Wikio

Britain exploits the mentally challenged…

So says the excellent Matthew Wright, presenter of Channel 5’s Wright Stuff of Britain’s Got Talent. I kind of agree with him too, wondering how on earth they manage to find so many deluded people to expose themselves in front of millions. Most of them are utterly talentless, and clearly suffering from various types of [...]

Carlsberg workers of the world unite!

Over 1000 Carlsberg workers have today downed tools and staged a mass walkout of their main brewery in Denmark. The reason? Perhaps, like the ever-so-hard-put-upon British Airways workers, they were being asked to bring their working hours, practices, expenses and salaries in line with their industry co-workers. Perhaps they were threatened with mass redundancies [...]

Gordon Brown, bogeyman!

Here’s a laugh to brighten up your day… The Prime Mentalist was in Suffolk yesterday touring various places with his equally unlovely and useless local MP Chris Mole, glad-handing anyone stupid enough to get near to him. I managed to avoid seeing his gurning visage but a small child in Sure Start HillSide Children’s Centre [...]

Gordon Brown’s “aspirational” laptops hit ebay

Oh joy! This one is top. Ebay has a cracking listing which, I suspect, won’t last long. Just in case, I’ve grabbed a screenshot for your delectation. Wikio Wikio

Save Our Gordon

I’m not sure that Guido Fawkes knows what he’s started here, but it’s taken on a life of its own! The basic premise of Guido’s post is amusing enough. As of writing, the LabourList “Save Gordon” campaign/petition has stagnated at a measly 152 respondents, not all of whom are actually supportive, whereas Guido’s “Save Our Gordon” [...]
